Today, colleagues across the Trust joined our year 13 students, alongside their friends and family, in celebrating their A level and Level 3 results success.

Student success stories

Across 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 there have been many outstanding individual success stories 鈥 here we share a few from across the Trust.

Walton Academy

One of this year鈥檚 top performers was听Jhoey Alivio, who will be heading to the University of Nottingham to study nutrition after achieving a Distinction in food science, a Distinction in applied science and a grade A in art and design. Jhoey said: 鈥淎ll the hard work was worth it, my teachers were so supportive. I鈥檓 so proud and can鈥檛 wait for my next steps.鈥

Makenzie Brown听was also celebrating this morning after being awarded a double Distinction in performing arts and an A in religious studies. He has a place at the University of Lincoln to study sports journalism and commented: 鈥淚 was an external application to post 16 and never felt any different from the students who had always been here. I鈥檓 so proud of my results, thank you to my teachers who have worked so hard and been so supportive.鈥

Another superb result was achieved by听Isobel Staton, who achieved A,A,A in history, maths and chemistry. She has a place secured at the University of York to study history. Isobel said: 鈥淚鈥檓 very proud of myself, I can鈥檛 believe it! I鈥檓 so pleased with my results and delighted to be going on to study at York.鈥

Celebrations were also in order for听Grey Mowlem听who will be studying maths at the University of Birmingham after gaining top results of A* in maths, A in further maths and A* in chemistry. Grey said: 鈥淚鈥檓 really shocked, happy and so proud to have got such great results.鈥

Madison Ford听is off to Sheffield Hallam University in the autumn to take up her place on the early years and primary education course. Madison achieved a double Distinction in performing arts and a Distinction in children鈥檚 play, learning and development. She said: 鈥淚 am so excited to start my journey as a teacher. All the hard work has paid off. Thank you so much to Mrs Hare for all her support!鈥

Queen Elizabeth鈥檚 Academy

One student who was delighted with her results today was听Paige Gregory, who has secured a place at Nottingham Trent University to study law. Paige said: 鈥淚 am happy with my results and looking forward to starting university.鈥

Nadia Cabello Luna听was also celebrating success and will join Paige in studying law at Nottingham Trent University. Nadia said: 鈥淚 am surprised but so pleased with my results. I am excited for my next steps.鈥

Tuxford Academy

Ellie Cawston听is celebrating superb results this morning after being awarded A* A* A* A* in business, geography, psychology and finance. She has a place at Queens College, University of Cambridge to study land economy. She said: 鈥淚鈥檓 really happy. I鈥檓 glad all the hours and months of hard work have paid off.鈥

Another of this year鈥檚 top performers was听Will Allan听who has secured a place at the University of Leeds to study medicine. Will said: 鈥淚鈥檓 so happy and relieved!鈥. He achieved A* A* A grades in geography, biology and chemistry.

Jessica Abdy听was also celebrating this morning after gaining impressive A A A grades in maths, biology and chemistry. She commented that she is 鈥渃ompletely overwhelmed but over the moon!鈥 Jessica is taking a year out but applying to study medicine at university next year.

Another superb result was achieved by听Hannah Noble, who achieved A* A听 A in biology, maths and chemistry. Hannah has a place secured at the University of Sheffield to study dentistry. She said: 鈥淚 am over the moon with my results and excited to be starting at Sheffield University in September. I will be going out with friends later today to celebrate.鈥

Emma Biggs听is also celebrating this morning after being awarded A A C in her A levels. She has a place on a degree apprenticeship with the Government Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) in Sailsbury. She said: 鈥淚鈥檓 excited to start the next chapter.鈥

Congratulations were also in order for听Milly Ogle-Simpson, who achieved A B B in English literature, history and psychology. Milly will be heading to the University of York to study English literature. She commented: 鈥淚 am so happy that I got my first choice university.鈥

The Holgate Academy

One of the top performers was听Evie Allsop听who received an A in English language, B in psychology, A* in criminology and an A in the extended project qualification (EPQ) and was thrilled to secure a place at Nottingham Trent University. This was her first choice, and she is going to study childhood and psychology. Evie said: 鈥淚 am thrilled with my results and looking forward to the next chapter.鈥

Patrik Holodnak听is also celebrating brilliant results, with an A in chemistry, A in maths, B in physics and a C in the EPQ. Patrick will be undertaking an engineering apprenticeship at ITP Aero (an aeronautical engine and components company). A very happy looking Patrick said: 鈥淚 am relieved to have got the results I wanted, and more importantly needed. I am excited to start the next chapter of my life.鈥

Luke Sanders听was delighted with his results. With a grade A in biology, B in chemistry, B in maths and a B in the EPQ, he will be off to the University of Sheffield to study biomedical science. Luke said: 鈥淚 am pleasantly surprised and looking forward to starting university.鈥

Harry Plaskitt鈥檚听dedication has paid off, he received a grade B in history, B in business, E in physics and an A in the EPQ, securing him a place at the University of Lincoln to study history.

East Leake Academy

Familial success at East Leake Sixth Form continued with twins听Sam and Oliver Hildred听as two of our highest achievers. Sam gained three A* grades in biology, chemistry and sport. He will be taking up his place at the University of Birmingham to study medicine. Twin brother Oliver achieved A* grades in business studies and economics, and an A grade in sport. He will be studying international management at university.

East Leake music students were all extremely successful in achieving distinctions in Level 3 Extended Diploma. Jack Antcliffe听will be studying jazz at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Drama and听Ryan Martin听will be moving to BIMM Institute to follow a course in popular music.

Film studies and media studies were very popular options this year, with听Sophie Hill听achieving A*/A grades in both subjects and an A in her media focused extended project qualification (EPQ). Sophie will be moving to Nottingham Trent University to study media and communication.听Ruby Van Laun, another high achieving film student, will be moving onto the University of Salford to study film production.

Biomedical science was also a very popular course of study for several students this year. Abigail Barnett andTaylor Brown are moving onto to Manchester and York universities respectively. Business, an equally in demand subject and successful A level choice, is leading several students to continue their studies in a variety of courses including sports management, business management and business economics. One student, Ben Wilkinson, is continuing his work with PKA Kick Boxing and will be running his own franchise of this business.

Retford Oaks Academy

One of the top performers, Molly Cappleman-Jackson, achieved a grade A in criminology, and grade Bs in photography and psychology. Molly has secured a place at Newcastle University to study psychology. Her response to this fantastic result was: 鈥淚鈥檓 so happy to get into my first choice of university, I didn鈥檛 expect these results at all and I鈥檓 really, really happy.鈥

Another top achiever was听Luke Phillips听who achieved Bs in biology, chemistry, maths and physics. Luke will be going to Loughborough University to study aeronautical engineering. He said: 鈥淓verything is going to be different now, I鈥檓 really excited for the big change.鈥

Amelia Cropley鈥檚听dedication also paid off, with an A in English literature, B in sociology and C in psychology. Amelia is going to the University of Nottingham to study English, she said: 鈥淚鈥檓 so happy with my results and can鈥檛 believe I鈥檓 going to university! I can鈥檛 wait to join all of the newspaper clubs and really get involved.鈥

Christian Chikota听has a set of results to be very proud of. He achieved a grade Bs in biology, maths and physics, and has been accepted into the University of Bath. Christian said: 鈥淚鈥檓 really happy with my results and looking forward to the future.鈥
